Every child builds an ideal world within himself, A world all his own. Children are forgiven for innocence , but the truth is the exact opposite, a Child is much closer to elemental nature and the " me , me , me " clamor of his natural instincts and that means kids are Uncivilized, mostly. Some will remain that way all through their lives.. aimless, witless, worthless, selfish.
Most won't. Most will learn the lesson that makes civilization work, The brotherhood of man, The Sheer pleasure of doing good. Most will learn Honor, Duty and lastly Faith.
Faith is a double edged sword. Always will be. In my case Faith came about through a journey that was both metaphor and physical, and trust me, The physical part hurt at the time.
I have faith in the brotherhood, because the bond that unites is something unbreakable, But it's not blind faith.
three times in my life i have dared men to find that valley where the children of the dawn are forged. two of them got physically ill a 100 miles from the place. The third one chose to stay.
