Today's world teaches most Humans that being Alone... being Only One, will leave you floundering , that you need the rest to survive. Not true.
We are all Individuals, We all follow our own paths, and each individual can make a difference.
The only limits on us are our own fears. Conquer that fear, And the world awaits your every word.
mathematics is a strange thing to most humans, it shouldn't be, but yet it is. One little gem though. Mathematics called the number 1 Unity.
why does such a rigidly formal structure refer to the Number One as Unity: Isn't that a contradiction in terms?

this is a tiny corner of the blogosphere.. my corner.. so i was surprised to see some nice comments and a few bewildered ones, Sorry guys, those comments stay hidden.. but i will take the story one step further.

Every child builds an ideal world within himself, A world all his own. Children are forgiven for innocence , but the truth is the exact opposite, a Child is much closer to elemental nature and the " me , me , me " clamor of his natural instincts and that means kids are Uncivilized, mostly. Some will remain that way all through their lives.. aimless, witless, worthless, selfish.
Most won't. Most will learn the lesson that makes civilization work, The brotherhood of man, The Sheer pleasure of doing good. Most will learn Honor, Duty and lastly Faith.
Faith is a double edged sword. Always will be. In my case Faith came about through a journey that was both metaphor and physical, and trust me, The physical part hurt at the time.
I have faith in the brotherhood, because the bond that unites is something unbreakable, But it's not blind faith.

three times in my life i have dared men to find that valley where the children of the dawn are forged. two of them got physically ill a 100 miles from the place. The third one chose to stay.

GPL vs GPL: the steorn Difference

Steorn has used the term GPL ( General Purpose License) in their marketing literature . Is this a deliberate attempt to confuse it with the original GPL ( General Public Licence) that forms the bed rock of open source/FOSS or does it represent Steorn fudging/ Incompetence?
The average Joe associates GPL with great things , great software at low to zero cost, Thanks to the tireless efforts of the whole FOSS community.

Is steorn deliberately trying to piggyback on the good will generated by the millions of manhours of selfless work put in by the Open source community? I think the answer is yes.
To me, That is slimeball tactics, piggybacking on a very worthwhile acronym to sucker Joe Average into giving a thumbs up to Steorn, when what steorn means is very different.
